A birthstone pendant ties the design to a specific month, which makes it one of the easier gifts to get right even without knowing much about someone's usual style. We stock birthstone pendants across all twelve months, set in 9ct and 18ct gold, hand-finished at our Birmingham workshop. Some stones hold their colour better at a smaller carat weight than others, garnet and amethyst tend to read well even set small, while paler stones like peridot can look washed out if cut too fine. This also works well paired with matching earrings in the same stone, if you want to build the gift out a bit further. A thoughtful option when you know the date but not much else.
