Birthstone Necklaces

Birthstone necklaces tie the design to a specific month, making them one of the easiest gifts to get right, even if you don't know much about someone's usual style. We stock birthstone necklaces for all twelve months, set in 9ct and 18ct gold and hand-finished at our Birmingham workshop, mostly as a single-stone pendant on a fine chain. Some stones hold their colour better at a smaller carat weight than others; garnet and amethyst tend to read well even set small, while paler stones like peridot can look washed out if cut too fine. These also work well paired with matching earrings in the same stone, if you want to build the gift out further. A thoughtful option when you know the date but not much else.
