9ct gold chains sit at the more affordable end of the gold chain range, and the harder-wearing end too, since the higher proportion of alloy metal makes 9ct more resistant to everyday scuffs than 18ct. That trade-off is exactly why so many people choose 9ct for a chain they intend to wear daily and rarely take off. We stock 9ct gold chains across most of our styles: curb, rope, belcher and more, hand-finished at our Birmingham workshop. The colour is slightly paler than 18ct because there's less pure gold in the alloy, though most people wouldn't notice side by side.
