A hoop earring is one of the more forgiving styles to buy, since the basic shape barely changes even as the size, thickness and metal do. We stock hoop earrings from small and close-fitting to large statement sizes, in gold and silver, hand-finished at our Birmingham workshop. Thickness matters as much as diameter here; a thin hoop reads as delicate while a thicker one carries more visual weight even at the same size. If you're buying your first hoop earring, a mid-size, medium-thickness style is usually the safest starting point before trying something more extreme in either direction. Come in and try a few sizes against your face shape before deciding.
