Birthstone earrings tie the design to a specific month, which makes them one of the easier gifts to get right even if you're not entirely sure of someone's usual style. We stock birthstone earrings across all twelve months, set in 9ct and 18ct gold, hand-finished at our Birmingham workshop, mostly as small studs or simple drops. Some stones work better in smaller settings than others; garnet and amethyst tend to hold their colour well even at a small carat weight, while paler stones like peridot can look washed out if cut too small. These also work well as part of a matching set with a pendant in the same stone. A thoughtful option when you know the date but not much else.
