9ct Gold Earrings

9ct gold earrings sit at the more practical end of the gold earring range, are harder-wearing than 18ct thanks to the higher alloy content, and are generally more affordable for the same design. That's why 9ct tends to be the default choice for earrings worn daily, since studs and hoops get more handling than most other jewellery. We stock 9ct gold earrings across hoops, studs and drops, hand-finished at our Birmingham workshop. The colour sits slightly paler than 18ct, though most people only notice when comparing the two side by side under good light. For everyday earrings that can take a bit of knocking about, 9ct is usually the sensible starting point.
