Spiga is Italian for an ear of wheat, and the chain looks it. Fine links are woven in a diagonal wheat-link pattern that gives the surface a soft, textured ripple. Even so, it lies flat against the collarbone. At 1.5mm in 18ct white gold, it's slim enough to wear every day. Wear it on its own for a fine, quiet line at the neck. The woven links give it some body, so a small pendant hangs well from it, and the pendant stays the focus. Pick 16, 18 or 20 inch. Each one is hand-finished in our Jewellery Quarter workshop in Birmingham, polished and fitted with a secure clasp.
